Okay, so I've been working on this dinky little thing for a week on/off... And I have one problem left before I can be satisfied with it. Under the menu bar, there's a shadow (which is part of the menu bg) and it's BLUE. So it's blue in the green background, and yeah. Don't want it to be.

I tried using .png so it would be transparent, but that didn't work and now I'm stuck with no idea how to fix it. D: =P

(And if you noticed that I posted this on SI, then you're right. I did. But Wrighty's mysteriously disappeared...)

First person to figure it out wins... A... giant and shiny red button.

hm, try the PNGs again, otherwise you'll need to have then menu bar image not have the shadow or blue part and then add the shadow in sepretly

Well, I did that and now where it's supposed to be blue, it's green. =P

How do I add the shadow separately?

Its blue in the middle, and green on the sides...

I also suggest to try getting a code that will allign/make the menue buttons closer to each other

The menu buttons are made to fit the style of The Sims 2, so they're supposed to look goofy, thanks though.

And... The whole shadow background is green, except for the buttons. They haven't been changed yet.

I only have 7 days left to finish this skin, so if anyone knows how to fix this, please reply within the week.

I think its because you have to many of the same codes , you only need to use the codes once . I don't  know i could be wrong but i think that is what your problem is.

No, that's not it. I have only one code for each function or whatever... One stretches the welcome table across the page, another appends it to the top of the page, another aligns to menu buttons... etc.

I think the problem is the background color. It's green. So when I change the menu bg image to transparent, the transparent part shows up as green since that's the background color. So in other words, I guess I need a code to remove the background from the welcome table or something? =P

That, or just add the shadow separately which I still don't know how to do...

Can you copy/paste the code you are using for your shadow/menu bar?

hey cinderlla...i think that you need to chop off the blue....lines on those buttons....thats whats happening....just photoshop it....and your problem will be solved!

Ah, if only it were that simple... This is kinda like one of those "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" kind of things, only you don't want to pay attention to the menu buttons. I'll fix those as soon as I get the menu bg right.
