new/old buttons?

is it just me, or dont the new/old buttons change? like, I know there is no new posts in one section, but the blue button is still there showing there are new. A couple show gray, but that's it..?

You have to actually go into the board, not right to thread with last post.

It's more of a PB thing than anything else. The software sometimes has issues with keeping track of which threads you've looked in and which you haven't. So it's not a wA thing.

Also,

if a board has sub-boards, the new icon will stay on the board until you go into the sub-board.

Yeah, there isnt any thing I can do. I mean, I could create a fix for it but whats the point of bogging down the coding when it works most of the time

Yea, it might be fixed in Proboards 4.5 but who knows? I'm sure Craig and Martyn have known about it for a while though but just haven't bothered to fix it because it's not that big of a problem I suppose.

Another reason could be someone replied (made the thread appear new), but then deleted their post.

And when a mod bumps a thread I think it has a new icon as well.
