Just wanted to know whats the difference in coding between Proboards and vForums?

Uhh...everything. The layout may look, for the most part, the same, but it's all coded differently. I do believe Mike (Xikeon, here) mentioned something about it being easier to mod the profiles or some mess, though.  |

Yeah easier for non coders as it has the templates that can be re-ordered

I also heard something about ID Tags that makes it much easier for coders to write scripts. Don't know what that really means though. =/

I'm partial to ProBoards, actually. Though not for the source code or anything. Just the layout seems a lot smoother and "together" than vForums.
Honestly, if you don't know the difference, it shouldn't matter. When you learn to code for it or whatever you plan to do, you'll just go about it differently. I don't see it being any harder as long as you honestly know what you're doing.

I'd say vForums is easier to code and easier for non coders to work things out without bugging coders.
Right now vForums is still pretty much in the development stage. It's adding basic features almost weekly and it's got some features that I've seen ProBoards are going to include in v5.
