I'd like to start a few "challenges" if we have enough people interested. I suck at PHP, so (X)HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, and JavaScript would be the only real topics they'd cover (client-side fun =p). I'll be studying PHP again for the first time in like two years along-side C++, so that should change soon, and if it doesn't, we'll work something out. Seeing as I know we're short for people, i'm not planning anything major. Just maybe once every week or so, I throw out a puzzle, a request, a "challenge"...and give away points to whomever solves them (doling more points for more efficient code and coolness). It'd be a bit like what Eric has going on at SSD right now. I'm really only starting this thread to see if anyone would be willing to participate. If I get, say, 4 people at the least, i'll start a separate thread to discuss setup, content, rating systems, guidelines, what-have-you. Keep in mind that saying you'll chime in doesn't mean you have to be involved in every challenge--whether it be of time restraints or lack of interest in the particular code or whatever. So...that's it.
