I think that Frontpage, for the most part, is a waste of space. I'm still learning HTML and CSS at the moment, and found it much easier to write the language for my ICT coursework, rather than follow the rest of the class and use Frontpage. I guess it was easier for the class to use it - as most didn't know HTML - but them some of them then said that "they now knew HTML because they could change things on frontpage and let the program write it for them"... I think it would be better for them to learn HTML from scratch, or at least give it a try. Tis pretty fun to learn.

Please try not to double post Artz. Just put it all in the first post next time. As for me though, I'd prefer to learn the myself. Works for better knowledge of how it works, etc. Rather than have a program do it all for you and not know what's going on in the coding. Moved to Coder's Corner from General

There was a little bit of sense behind it (as I didn't wanna put people off of voting a specific way), but now you mention it yeah it is better all in post.. =]. Hope I don't have any more slip ups -_-

I use Dreamweaver because I find coding from scratch to be a bit tenuous. I think I'll have to learn sooner or later though, I'm just putting it off.

I would like to learn to code. I have used dreamweaver before, and it is really annoying and I think harder to use then it would be to learn to code.

I would say code bcause there is a lot more that can be accomplished. Although, I do like dreamwaver because I am visual, and you can use coding there.

I like to code from scratch in dreamweaver. xP I like the syntax highlighting in the code view... Hence why I use Notepad2 Quite handy, though there are a few errors in the highlighting like if you have comments it still highlights the XML Prologue but I can live with that. From the above I think you've gathered I definitely prefer to hand code. I'll admit though this is only because my desire to build a website outgrew my patience for Frontpage. I think they've discontinued it now (thankfully). Dreamweaver I hope follows on... but that's just my prejudice.

I've tried Dreamweaver on numerous occasions. I can't get it do what I want... at all. So I'll stick to ripping templates and editing the code.
