Most Memorable Moments

There are many memorable moments in different forms of media. We've all experienced them so I'd like to know what are some moments that have stuck out in your mind and why do you think that. They don't even have to have a lot of meaning or emotion to them as long as their still memorable to you. I'd like to see all forms of media covered. Anything from movies to video games to books.

Fight Club

HUGE SPOILERS!






My first one comes from Fight Club. When you first learn that Tyler Durden is the main character that moment is just so amazing since it really makes you question everything you've seen/read so far. I love how it's executed. You never notice that the narrator doesn't have a name up to that point. You don't notice the hints or what they meant until you found that out. It's really rewarding reading or watching this a second time just to pick up on everything you missed. I think the best example of this is in the movie where you see Tyler for a split second and then he's gone. You really need to be paying attention to pick up on that.

So, at the end, when you expect Olive to win the whole thing miraculously, she fails miserably, but in doing so, the whole family comes together and screws with the system. I would go into it more but hey, anyone who's seen the movie will know what I'm talking about.
