Very nice car. Looks great. The text in the header is good, though "May 2008" clashes a bit too much with the background. Keep the same outline, but try filling in the letters with a lighter shade.
Since it is a calendar, you need to make the calendar table much bigger. But honestly, if you removed it but left everything else, it would be an amazing piece all by itself. If you want to leave it, I'd add some scan lines to the background of the table at a low opacity, choose a stronger red for the color, and make Sunday's days red as well.

If I were you, I'd remove the calendar and just blend in another American symbol as you have been doing. Though, you said it was something for Provision, so I guess the requirements were it had to be a calendar page?
