For your first one, it's lovely. I have one comment, but its a big thing.

The header does not flow at all with the rest of the site. It looks like two completely different images just thrown on top of each other. Two very good images might I add. If you look at the footers of your layout, you can see what I am talking about. The arrows and brushing all flow well together. I'd add some brushes on top of the arrows, connecting them to the forum. Love the distortion on them btw. Great work! =D
