What are points?

webAddict's Points System was designed as a means to reward quality contributions to the community. You get points, you get rewards.

How do I get points?

Points are awarded in two major ways:

At the bottom of all mini-profiles you'll see two links: increase and decrease. Clicking either of these will subtract or add to that member's point count by 10. You may only give/take 10 points once every hour, however. And this action in no way affects your own point count.

The Staff
Unlike the members' means, the staff may give out any number of points they desire whenever they desire. Big difference here is, we don't administer points for nothing. You want 'em, you earn 'em:

3000 Points - webAddict-designed Forum - Currently Unavailable

1750 Points - Custom Coded Forum

500 Points - Add Your Own Censor

[/i] turned into carrot all over the forum, but it does mean %$wApwns$$ can become the equivalent of say, 5 different images. Further exceptions do apply, such as abuse of the word and interference with the forum.[/ul]
500 Points - Sticky a Thread (One Week)

200 Points - Rent Staff Signature (varies from 200 based on rank)

120 Points - Custom Title

120 Points - Custom Rank (One Week)

60 Points - Request Override

I'm not getting points, why?

It's possible we'll overlook people from time to time. Regardless, please don't pm any of the staff about it. Just keep posting, and when you're spotted, you'll be justly compensated.
