Canvas (digital) - The piece of "paper" in Photoshop or any other graphics program, used to make digital art on, basically the same as the traditional canvas but, on a computer.
Color Scheme (or Scheme) - All the colors in a skin combined together; so a skin that is red and blue, they would say that those two are the color schemes of the skin.
Concept (Digital Art-wise) - Similar to a Skin-wise concept, only for art, like Photomanipulations and signatures.
Concept (Skin-wise) - How a skin looks like, the overall shapes and everything is designed, most of the time just an idea you get in your head on how a skin will look like after you make it in a graphics program.

Fractal Art - A LP most of the time. Not very popular among LP's. Fractal Art is very abstract. It's very easy to figure out that an art is a fractal art.
Fractal art mostly consists of "lines" that have some weird formations, most of the time they repeat, most of them are similar in some way, so it's easy to tell them apart from other art.
The programs used to make them is Apophysis/UltraFractal.
Freestyle - Most of the time used for a theme in SOTWs and GOTWs. It means that there is no specific theme, anything is possible but take note that forum rules still apply (if any).
FR - Full Rights, a PSD that you receive from another person that you can do what you want with it.

GOTW - Graphics of the Week, basically the same as the SOTW, only you aren't limited to making a signature but also large pieces and etc. is permitted.

Hex Colors - The codes for each color, FFFFFF for example is white. While 000000 is black. You can find a wide variety of colors and their hexes in PS or PSP; there are also a couple of sites with a "hex picker". Just search on your favorite search engine and you'll find some.

picture can be considered a photomanip. But, the more complex photomanip you make, the more credit you will get.
Photoshop/PaintShop Pro (or PS/PSP) - The two leading graphic programs. Make LP's, make interfaces, everything!
Pixel Art - Varies from LP to SP. Any sort of art that is made using pixels. The pencil tool is mostly used in PS or PSP. It can even be made in MS Paint.
Pixel Artists get a lot of credit, because it can be a very frustrating task to do and it takes a lot of time if your doing a LP.

Ripper - Someone who rips Skins or Digital Art. They are most of the time banned from a lot of forums, to prevent anymore ripping.
