It's true.. I've not actually tried properly to make a piece, but wow, its so weird how it is set up, everything is just... odd lol.

I haven't used it in more than a year. I doubt much has changed though. It took maybe 3 steps to delete something from a layer?  |

I had to use GIMP when PhotoShop broke. I had just taken a new screenshot for my msn display picture (those of you who have my msn are probably sighing, right now), and opened up PhotoShop to "edit" it. PhotoShop no worky. So while repairing it, I downloaded GIMP. It took at least 40 minutes, but I did manage to get a decent square PNG out of it. Confusing confusing confusing. >.<

I heard GimpShop is easier for Photoshop users since it mimics the layout of PS but I haven't tried it for myself.

Never tried it, don't really plan to when I don't even design anymore (when I do I have PS to do it with).
I've seen screens of it. Looks fairly easy to get used to for me.

omg... lol, I tried to use it once but it was just too confusing XD I quit and went back to PS
I mean, why make 3 steps in GIMP if you can do the same in 2 with PS?
