I know we had a Are you dating thead lets how more a disscuion one.

What are your thoughts on Dating? How young or  old would you go. Do you think people around have an affect on who you date?

People around me don't affect who I date. If a girl makes me happy, then nobody else has the right to try to break that up. I started dating when I was about 12 or 13, pretty stupid because I don't really think I was ready for it. A good age to start is usually 14 or 15. I'm 16 now and have been in a relationship for over 8 months, and it's been wonderful, because I can handle it.

same thing for me, so long as the girl makes me happy it doesn't matter what anyone thinks, but dating young isn't all to great, cause your usually confused as hell about what to do and how to act, doesn't change much with age but the maturity helps for handling it.

Does age has an effect? lets say 17 dating a 14 year old or 17 dating a 21 year old. do you have a range for dating?

I wouldent go lower then 15, Im 17. Id say 2 years lower, as for older, probably no more then 2 or 3 years

I think you'd shouldn't date until you can drive.

The whole purpose is to eventually find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, and you're not going to find that person when you're 15. So why even bother?

Wait until you can actually drive and go on a decent date, and you have matured as a person.

But these may just be words from a guy who's jealous because he doesn't have a Gf.

I've been in my relationship since I've been 15, and it's been fine. Then again, she is currently living out of state (moving back in May, when I will have my license...) so the issue hasn't surfaced in a while.

at current age of 19 i would not go 2-3 years down or up. i think that is a good range to date in unless the person is more mature the age might be thrown out the window (maybe)

But for now i dont have to worry about any of that.
