Which type of interfaces/skins do you think are easier to design? Ones with light schemes or dark schemes?
Personally, I think dark schemes are easier to work with. Mostly because it's easier to tell if something's too dark as opposed to too light. And it gives more possibilities of contrast, which is important.

I agree. But you're a bitch, I thought this was gonna be a "what skin do you prefer: a light one, or dark?", so I had a post ready in my head lol..

I think dark skins are easier to make, for reasons listed above. I've worked with both, and to be honest, my best skin ever was light, but overall I found it to be easier to work with dark ones. Lots of people just get a gray and some secondary color and mix them and say it's original. That can be a bit annoying.

Dark ones are easier mostly because there's so many colors that can complement gray/black. Well, basically all colors can go with it if done right. Much harder to do so with light gray/white.

I think most colors work better with a light skin. The only dark skins I've ever made were for requests.

Both, if you look at most of my skins they deal with both

Dark skins, easily. But, darker skins are like...used on most design sites nowadays >_< Everyone loves them.
If you guys get around to 2.0 of wA, something like #2 Proboards Skin Entry would look awesome with your coding.

It depends for me, I usually only pay attention to the secondary colour. In wA's case blue, (which has been whored out in this manner to many times) which is usually pretty attractive.

I prefer light skins. But wA is more in the middle, so I'm fine with it.
I can't stand anything too bright either, I won't go anywhere near Extreme Data. It's just too bright.
