Yep, I am spamming this on every forum I go on, 'cos I'm sort of happy.... w00t I got it. Its pretty similar to C4D in the sense of the layout. Haven't yet tried making anything in it, but I will be doing soon

lol.. Well... Money is no object to me for apps. I have yet to even attempt to make anything in 3ds, but I am going to tomorrow (sunday), I will obviously need to find a little, basic abstract tutorial just to learn the minor noobish things. Like I did with c4D. Then once I know how the stuff works, if the 'effects' (aka. deformers) are the same or similar, I can start experimenting woot

What type of stuff makes it different from C4D? I enjoyed C4D, and even though I don't plan on spending money on any graphics programs or anything like that, it would definitely interest me to know.

I think both programs are more or less the same to be honest, but since I am no Pro or anything with either program, I couldn't tell you what the differences are. Obviously each will have different effects, or Im sure they will. I mean, C4D has like what, about 10ish deformers? Ya know, Twist, bend etc. And who knows, 3DS may have loads, or may have only like 5, but could have more other stuff.

Wow, 3dsm is quite similar, but majorly different to C4D. I need to go find a tutorial on using the best settings when rendering. The materials are different also.
3dsm seems to have more deformers, but they are not called that in 3dsm.. Cant remember what they are, Ive closed it.
