Design-wise, what are your favorite album covers? Random but some of the best art these days show up on album covers. Just want to see what everyone else likes. I love the design of Under the Iron Sea. Don't like the band itself but the album design is amazing.

Same as above. XD Most of the new ones now-a-days are only photo's of the celebrity or band.

I see the odd one being advertised on TV though. I can't think of any off by hand, but I have seen some that I think "sweet, how did they do that?" xD

That's pretty cool. Not something I would be wowed by though. I love vector stuff, I really do..

I agree with stinky on this one. I've seen too many long exposure photos of traffic on dA to be wowed by another. I wish more album covers were vectors.

Dark Side of the Moon. Nothing technical, but 99 of 100 people will know it, it's just an icon.

Anberlin's City cd Cover is an interesting way to draw/paint a city, the paint strokes are buildings and such.

Anberlin's City cd Cover is an interesting way to draw/paint a city, the paint strokes are buildings and such. Yea, I find minimalistic stuff like that more appealing than most album covers. Not one of my favorites design-wise, but not terrible; unlike most of the covers I see these days. >.> And yea, Dark Side of the Moon is a classic.
