Like the second one better, you can read the text easier. A bit to big/plain I think. Maybe make it 100 x 300 and see how that looks. The orb looks good to me. I'd lighten the edges of it, but other than that good job with it.

To make some great looking cracks try this. If you prefer pixel art what you have pretty decent. Just the text is hard to read. |
