img292.imageshack.us/my.php?image=djartzux2.jpgAny comments or improvements will be very welcome. I made this.. just for the fun of it really. I'm currently practicing my photoshop and decided to make a new background. Once I had the background done I started looking to see if I had any images to put on there and I was just playing around with ideas. Theres the final result. My own Sig. ^-^ Only started photoshop but a week ago, so if anyone has any improvements could you also specify how that could be done (like what tool to use and that) thanks. x

Really big for a sig. Sigs usually go in your signature, so I'd make it smaller next time around. Not a big deal. But, one thing that the size is doing is stretching the images. If you make it smaller, the image quality will be better. This is also evident with the renders as they are blurry. That could also be due to a low opacity, so don't put it too low. Also, the waterfall render overlaps the wolf layer, so move the wolf layer above the waterfall layer. Text isn't bad I'd try other fonts as opposed to that and if you are going to corner the text, don't have any at all. Try and tie it in with the image. The eye is blended very well. Good job with this, for your first week, not bad. Keep working at it.

Thanks for the feedback! I will make it smaller if I put it in my signature. I thought, as an image, it might be better bigger.. but Yeah, you're right in saying the picture quality and thats better when smaller. The opacity on them is quite low, the original reason behind that was to try and get the waterfall and eye images to fade into the background making the wolf (aswell as the background really) the focal point.. though now I might make the wolf even more prominent and toy around with the opacity of the waterfall layer - see if I can work it better. The text I should really do more with yeah, I'll work on finding a better font and move it in a bit more as you suggested. Thanks for everything, you've helped a lot!
