 It's not the actual dog I want comments on, it's the background. I made it by experimenting with the stuff I have in my verison of Photoshop. Lotta time went into that. |

Background is fine. =)
Not sure what you did, but a simpler way to come up with something similar is filter > render > clouds.

I'm a newbie with photoshop, so All I can think of is us the magic wand, eliminate the background (before the dog) and then make a layer behind the dog and the cloud stuff. I like the red clouds, looks nice, a lot of experimenting with color could make it a bit better. But good job  |
