I don't understand what is allowing it to take computer games to a 'new level.'

did you watch the full 35 min vid? To me i think it is, i haven't a game were you start out so simple then end up making your own race, conquering your world follwed by other planets etc... plus then you have other people races being download on to your game to fill in more items etc...

I've been keeping my eye on this game for quite some time.

I think it looks amazing, there is nothing like it. I love the whole creativity aspect, which is a breath of fresh air compared to the dozens of FPSs that are out.

Do you think pre-ordering is faster then waiting until it's in stores and buying it the first day it's on the shelves?

i would pre-order for a couple of reasons

1. some times site ship the games before the date so you might have a chance of getting a day or two early

2. as big as this game is i would be surpise is goes like hot cakes.

If i think a game i will be big i always pre-order just on the safe side

So it's finally coming out?

Will Wright is a bloody genius so I don't expect anything less than a masterpiece from him. And he lives in the Bay Area, which makes this game even cooler.
