New to PS? Not a bad color scheme. You are headed in the right direction in that regard xD. Real problem with this sig is it has no depth. Really flat. Since you are new, I'd start with basic ways to enhance it, the work your way up to the more advanced ways. Tell me the program you use, and I can tell you how to apply these techniques. First, I'd add a drop shadow to the text. Also, new font please. Script rarely looks good on a piece like this, and I'd stick with the same font. Next, you have a basic grad in the back. I'd add a texture and use the dodge tool a bit on it. Last, add a border. I think a 1 px black will suit this. Do those things, and I will give you more. Or, make a totally new sig. Definitley an awesome start. Good job Justice. =)

Thanks for the input mate Yea am extremely new to PS CS3 and design. Which is part of the reason that I joined this site. Took me Two days to muster the courage to post it. Alot of you are awesome at Design, but then I said to myself that at some point you all were new to this like I am. Will start working on your suggestions, please don't tell me how to do it since you now know what program I use. If I get stuck I will ask for help.

Hey Justice, don't ever be afraid to post something here. You are right in saying we were all new once.
This is an excellent start, just keeping working on it, especially what Gray mentioned.
Over time you start to find your own style and techniques that work for you. Then designing really becomes something special.
I also recommend checking out some of the signature tutorials in the Design Resources board.

Its really not bad for what is probably a first. I've seen many people who tried out Photoshop and came out with things that killed eyes.
The background is nice and simple, but it doesn't match what seems to be fire. Red and blue don't exactly clash, try something more red. Also making it go to black isn't always a good decision because then you have to have a light color of text and it causes the focal to be off.
The what seems to be fire is positioned nice. The only problem is that it should fill more of the canvas. It should be the focal and to make a focal sharpen and brighten the middle and blur and darken the outside.
The text is pretty good for a first, but it could use work. You didn't use a render or a stock so the text size is good. The only problem is the color, the color for the text on the fire is good but the 'Justice' color should be something to clash with the colors.
Also try to add a border, something like 1 px of black. Nice and simple but easy to look at.
Not a bad first try. I'll give you a 3.5/10.

Take your time. Rushing is bad for design unless you have uber luck. ____________________________________ Bust yes..pretty much all suggestions have been stated. It does need more depth. As in not flat. Try to find soome nice fonts, script looks bad alot of the time. try daFont <--(click that) for good fonts. Color-wise, you're doing fine. No colors really clashing at all here. Good luck in future pieces.

Over all looks good, though Im to lazy to read all the other rates. But I will say, it looks good, only thing you need is a border and itd be great, a 1 px border would work fine I think
