To me it looks terrific. Im not even good at judging graphics... but I think it looks lovely. Is it really rotating or is just an effect it has from looking at it too long?

Not bad. First thing I noticed when I opened this thread was that it is too dark. The darkness overwhelms it a bit. Next, it isn't rounded. If you can't make it round, try softening the edges to see if it looks any better. The detail of the planet isn't bad, but you will get much better with practice. Maybe hit Sunjo up with a PM as I know he is pretty much an expert in this genre. Last, I'd expand the light source more. Make it cover almost the whole right half. Do those few things, and it should look better. Keep practicing, good luck! =)

Needs to have a dark stroke around the planet of some sort I think. And the edges need to be less choppy. Try antialiasing. Otherwise, nice work.  |
