Nice, it look good but I would lower the opacity on the top white part a little, not much though.

Pretty good for your first. I'd suggest adding some color instead of going with the grayscale. And lowering the opacity on the top white bar like Chad mentioned. And making the height smaller, cause most PB gradients are somewhere around 20 px to 25 px in height. This belongs in the Critique board.

I did do another gradient with this one, however its 30 x 1 pixels... I do belive if I provide the link (to where I am using it), it would be advertising, so I wont.
