as said in the title, this is my first manip.

excited to see what people like/dislike bout it.

For your first, it's great. A few things. First, the lighting in the left bottom corner is a bit unrealistic. It is too prefect of a shape, so play with that. Next, the whole image is too soft. I like that as it sets a mood, but I'd sharpen a few aspects. I was thinking those black metal flower things on the door. (what are they called?) Just run the sharpen tool over it. Last, I am not feeling a silhouette for this piece. I think a low opacity stock would be fine. Find one with a girls back facing towards you sort of like this, then lower the opacity so it has a ghost like composition like this:

(Look at the girl in palm) Then, place it in the same location, maybe a tad higher. I think if you do that, it will be perfect and professional. Good luck! =)

Thanks for the suggestion gray. I think those are just flowers. But ya, I don't have much time right now, but tomorrow or Sunday I'll give it another try.
