I did that to somebody who ripped from me. Rehosted the original, made a blank pink image at 1500x1500 and hosted it under the exact name. Their site looked great. I also did a huge rainbow once too, for another ripper.
Then there are the 2000x1 and 1x2000 transparent images that can stretch the page really wide or really high. I loved using them.
