I could never ever choose one, hell, I couldn't even choose 5. I see a new movie each day, and each one is usually as good as or better than the previous. As time goes on, movies are getting better. In my opinion they are getting less creative. Same plot with diffrent characters over and over again. I really enjoy some of Alfred Hitchcock's movies. But my fav is probably The Invisible. The only reason they seem less creative, is because everything seems to have been done before, unless of course it is based on a true story.

I really liked the first Die Hard. Either that or one of the Rush Hour movies.

Yeah, I would have to agree that Forest Gump is very good but it's so hard to say what the "best" movie ever is. There's just too many and too many different opinions. I would have to go with the movies in this list since they are meaningful (and are my favorite movies)
Big Fish, Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, The Life Aquatic, Little Miss Sunshine, Memento, Moulin Rouge, V for Vendetta.
