How would i make a service like userbarmaker.com? I have my own design that i want people to be able to create on the internet, like cooltext.com or userbarmaker.com.
I know i would have to use GD, but the only GD i know how to use is making squares and lines, not enough to create and advanced image in gimp.

hm, I know VB.NET, and ASP.NET, have a very powerful graphics engine that can do this, though how exactly I don't know. I'll ask around and look up some stuff though

You mean like, people type in something and it pops up in an image? You can do that using PHP. I can do a basic version of it (image with a bit of text on it), but to get the best job read up image creation in PHP. If you haven't worked with php, learn a couple of the basics first. It shouldn't be too difficult.  |
