I just got faster Internet [1.5Mbs, which is fast for my area and financial status and Australia in general >_>], with a 12GB D/L Limit before being slowed to 64Kbps[/u]...on a Liberty plan, so excess downloading doesn't carry that .15c extra per Megabyte. Guess what? I went on download spree! And I've been capped! The difference is noticeable >_> It's like, hopeless. I can't load my board, wA and PBS at the same time without waiting a whole minute. Why the hell are there download limits?! Honestly.
So, what kind of plan are you on and what speed? AND ARE YOU/CAN YOU BE CAPPED?!

We have rogers high-speed. I'm on wireless in the basement. I get about 110kb/s download speed tops. It's usually enough to play online games but sometimes it spikes.

SBC DSL.
My family was gonna get cable but then we figured out cable takes more time to set up. Laziness ftw.
But as far as I know, I haven't been capped.

My ISP is Charter (cable). My down is usually around 5MBs and up around 1MBs.
As for my home network, we have a Linksys cable modem and a Linksys 802.11 G router running DD-WRT. With about a 54MBs connection from my bedroom.

I use Verizon DSL. Not that incredible, but I haven't had any major problems with it, so it's fine by me.

I have Comcast Cable. I have their cable for TV, for the phone, and for the internet.
It's good, I don't have any problems with it except when it hi-jacks my internet and tries to make me register for whatever.

I'm on:
Unlimited Downloads Unlimited Surfing (I can be online 24/7 for 10yrs and it would cost no more) 2mbps (I get about an avg. of 250kbps when downloading)

I don't understand all those extra letters and numbers you people are talking about. =P
I have Quest with MSN premium, though. I think it's the speed above DSL, or something. xD
