Do You all have a cell phone of some sort? Rather is on your parents plan or own or prepaid one. Do you think that Home phones (land lines) will be gone in the next 20years?
Which do you perfer land line or cell?

I don't have a cell and havn't before either. Soon tho, when I can find a job.  I don't think home phones will be gone, no. Because cell phones need to be charged constantly and unless they can find a better way to give battery life to cells, I think we'll keep on using home phones. |

Cellphones just got banned from every school in Uppergrand District School board. (My school and a ton of others)

Not in twenty years, but in the future, I think landlines will become obsolete. They will still be there of course but the cost will be lower.
I right now have the "enV" from Verizon. I really want the iPhone but can't afford it. >.<

I prefer cell phone because it goes with me everywhere - I dont have to worry about being home to get my messages or missing a call - I can be on the go

I find this weird. 90% of kids at school have one and use them like there is no tomorrow, an yet when I talk to people who love technology they don't have one, lol. Ironic eh?
