What language do you know? and how fluent are you with them?
Another Question i have heard many times, Should there be one Language for everyone to learn and know

I take Chinese in school. I took Latin for 4 years. Didn't help me at all.
I am fluent in English though. I have pretty much mastered Latin, but its a dead language.

I'd have to agree with gray, Latin's pretty worthless.

Reason I took it was for SAT's vocab section. Only helped me for like two words.

Spanish (took for 2 years about 3-4 years ago) And I don't remember a thing about it. That's about it tho. That's the thing about languages. Once you stop really using them, you forget just like that. Like what happens to my Latin knowledge over the summer. |
