I don't thing any colors is specifically hard, it's a combo of colors. But I do have trouble with red more than anything, I lack inspiration in that color.

yellow... whatever I begin with yellow it always ends up in another color because I can't make yellow look good in my graphics XD any suggestions? Agreed. Yellow is quite hard to use as well (in interface design). Especially if you want it featured prominently. |

^^Yes, but red is harder, yellow you have the sun etc. It's cool with glows. But yes, it's hard.

and pink would just be hard since i don't particularly like pink..

Personally if you have a good sense of colour and texture any colour is simple. A simple colour wheel can help you with that. I have made sigs just about every colour.
Once you get the hang of it, everything comes easily.

^Yah but designing a piece in which the color reflects the traits that it symbolizes is hard.

Grey is neutral so it pretty much goes with anything.
Black, red, and white all together are hardest for me. Light pink can also go with a dark grey/green color. lol And yellow is fairly easy but for interface stuff... I'm not so sure.

I had a layout request awhile back with black, red, and white. I just couldn't do it. lol I refused to give that person a crappy layout... so I stopped. lol
