CS3 is just better in every sense. I love the layout, features, and overall products I can get with it as opposed to PSP. Used PSP for over a year, not that amazing of a program to me.

I'd say there equal. Stinky and Smangii are both hella good designers and both of them use PSP. I've seen more great designs come from PS, but thats only because its the 'hot' program that everyone wants, people completely leave PSP behind.

Everytime you mention PSP I think of the handheld system =p
I've never used/tried/seen Paint Shop Pro. So I can't say... but I do like Photoshop. Don't understand why the newer version are any better.. it's all just a marketing scheme.

There's a reason the design industry as a whole have more or less adopted Photoshop as their tool of choice. And there's also a reason it costs many times more than PSP.

But like tricky said, Smangii and Stinky are really great designers and both use PSP. PS is just more well known.

PSP is like, what.. about 5 times less the price of PSCS3, yet imo it is just as great. Yeah some tools or features in PSP aren't as advanced as they are in CS3, and CS3 may have a few more features/tools than that of PSP, but PSP has tools that CS3 doesn't have. Both are equally as good as one another, for their price range. The fact of the matter is, more people use PS, so more people will become pro and more people will give feedback to help improve the PhotoShop product, so it should be better than PSP, and even more so with the fact of the price differences. You wouldn't buy a £1k car and expect it to be as good as a £5k car, now would you...
