Not bad. I've just seen a lot better. Besides the menu buttons, everything else is pretty generic. I do love the text for the banner though, thats very neat. I would lower the opacity on the white spot in the orb for both the on/off and banner. Next, the base image for the cats has some sort of reflection shadow, I'd get rid of that too. Background is very nice and professional. I'd remove the thread/cell highlight. I'd add a blue grad to the BG of all text fields, such as the login box. There is a <style></style> code that does that, I can't find it now but I'd look in to it. I'd at least create one folder and then the paper icon since they are the most commonly used. The others you don't really need. Very good job on the coding who ever did that. Don't like the borders on the affiliates. But yeah, thats about it. It's not a bad skin at all, just needs some pizazz or something. God job.

I'll bet you my life's savings, my old friend from GameTalk (like 6 or 7 years ago) started the first Shadow Designs. Eh, kill me for reviving the thread, what do I care? Once you scroll passed the banner, it's like you're in a whole new world. Hate to say it, but the skin is really inconsistent, and everything seems small and bunched together. Also, rollovers may be cool effects, but keep them suddle. Last thing I wanna comment on, why is a category called general, below a more exclusive category like graphics? Not a bad forum, but it seems rather slap-stick, and the fact that you have so few posts for a version 7 really says something. |

Yeah I agree with you...this forum has become very inactive lately..suprised its survived this long...I just joined during V7 where it was starting to pick up with the new release of the template but now its going downhill again.
