My reasons are that I have been accused of ripping, warned for lying about it, and didn't receive any support, despite me never ripping a code in my life.

Just because I believe in giving credit where credit was due, I'm a ripper. I put that in my header MYSELF to prevent anybody from stealing the codes, as they have been edited to fit my forum, for example the URL's of the head/base images everywhere code has been edited for my own site. Notice my name is TCM? 8-Bit, and raven are names I use on some of my other forums which I've posted this message on.

That was in your header - and you are not MadMax, Chris, or California, so why on earth would you add their names? Because you didn't, you simply copied pasted it from proboards coding.

Not only that but the code was obviously not take from databases, rather it was a custom code.

If you steal codes and put them on your website, well that's not my business, but if you lie about it and argue with staff that's where I draw the line.

Congratulations on the first wA warning.

I put their names in there because they wrote the codes.

I can point out any codes to the database's of multiple sites.

I argue with staff that are mis-informed, forgive me if thats your line.

As for the warning, I've already canceled my account on this site.

Actually, after looking at the whole thread and the situation. I think it's more of a misunderstanding of the staff. TCM has done no wrong in giving the coders the credit of their work and modifying their codes to suit his board's personal needs.

Sure, though he doesn't even need to give a single coder a single credit, it's part of the unwritten rule in Proboards and many websites out there to give the coders a name for their hard work.

Now, if you look at the wording of that it looks like it's ripped right from Proboards Coding.

Are you saying Unchained, Chris, and California wrote codes specifically for your site "they have been edited to suit this websites needs".

Clearly, if you are telling the truth, you must admit your remark is not very clear at all.

I have no problem with you giving credit, I think it's great in fact. And if I am wrong I will formally apologize. But surely you can see how this misunderstanding took place, there was no need to delete yourself.

I'm starting to realize that this may of been a terrible error on my part, but am still unsure as to the details and would like your reply.

I do admit that it is a bit misleading, and could be misunderstood easily. Having reviewed this post I'm amazed at the responses this thread has gotten, as they are really, really mature. I now think it'd be foolish to delete my account, and have re-registered. This seems to have been a big misunderstanding, caused by my bad linguistic skills, I plan on re-writing that header for the future, to prevent any misunderstandings that may occur later on. Sorry!

Blink, I think what he meant was that they've been edited how the instructions say to edit them and therefore are edited to suit tcm's needs on his site. Therefore no one should do a direct copy/paste of them unless they know exactly what can be edited.

All codes I've found on tcm's site I have seen in multiple databases and are not ripped from the listed site's source.
