Extrude, Extrude Inner, Matrix Extrude, and Bevel are all great tools. Matrix Extrude can really slow your pc down though, or even crash it.. It always crashes my display drivers or something and then freezes C4D lol.

Didn't see wilsiakk's post; yes, that was me.
Yeah, I used tools like that for most of my stuff. I wasn't all that great at C4D, I just edited them to look at least pretty good in PS.

lol.. Well, at leas creating the C4D and then adding it in PS is better than using someone elses C4D then just doing a little bit of work to it lol.
I'm really wanting to learn c4d, so desperately.. Seems to be no decent tuts anywhere. With the exception of a couple of sexy ones on DA.

Yeah, and tutorials are so hard to follow with C4D, because if you make even the slightest mistake, it's basically you scratch it and start all over.
My friend taught it to me in person. It really helped me understand it quicker and more efficiently.

A combination of G101, PBS, outside, doing cross country, school, homework, and spending a few good hours a day with or talking with my girlfriend.
And playing geetah.

They don't always say what those tools do etc.

Indeed. I was glad that I could get a visual, live example of how everything was done. Probably cut my learning time down a month.
