bah. intro threads are supposed ot be come partial spam topics. It's how you determine how well the new member will integrate into the craziness of the forum.
And it lets the member determine how well the staff/members get along with new members as well.
If it's fuill of the generic "Welcome to the forum" and nothing else... then it gives the impression that the site isn't all that...
That's just my opinion anyway from my forum hopping.
